Genetics Guide: Stained

Stained is the heterozygous form of Ombre.

Stained causes a gradient effect over the base coat or up to two markings.

Stained may create a gradient on the base coat OR up to two markings - not both. Although Stained can break the rule on gradients, it must adhere to the general colour rules of the marking it is affecting. It adds only one colour to what it is affecting per marking.
