Genetics Guide: Luster

Luster is the heterozygous form of Luminescent.

Luster creates a shiny or slightly iridescent effect over the whole of a beast's coat or over individual markings.

Luster must effect at least one marking on a beast, but may effect as much as the entire body. It may not have hard edges, but can create highlights and shadows in the coat. This marking may use natural or semi-saturated colours to create a shine effect or an iridescent effect. Saturated colours may only be used when affected by a colour modifier.
